The daily journey
06:07 UTC — the daily run starts
A scheduled job wakes once a day. If today's plant exists, it stops.
A health area is picked
Areas rotate so the same one never repeats two days in a row.

Real sources are gathered
PubMed, Europe PMC and Wikipedia are searched for the exact Latin name, then ranked by the rules below.

How sources are chosen
The AI doesn't pick its own sources. Code applies these rules, then the AI may only cite what passed, and any citation it makes up is removed.
- 1Right plant. It must name the exact Latin species. Common names like "ginseng" cover several plants.
- 2Strongest study type first. Meta-analyses, then randomised human trials, other human studies, reviews, lab and animal work, and finally encyclopedias.
- 3Recent first. Within a type, newer papers rank higher. Older classics are labelled as such.
- 4People over test tubes. A claim can only be Strong or Moderate if a human study backs it. Lab or animal results alone are always Preliminary.
- 5Reputable and not retracted. Only peer-reviewed papers indexed by PubMed or Europe PMC. Retracted papers are removed.
- 6Balanced. Studies that found no effect are kept and lower the grade.
- 7Limited and varied. At most 12 sources per plant and 3 from one journal.

Plant of the Day
Automatic, one a day, same for everyone, sends a notification.
Community
You type a name; AI checks it is a real plant, matches its Latin name to avoid duplicates, then builds it. Daily limits apply.
17 perspectives
Each one is recorded once per plant, then shared with everyone. If a tradition has no real history with a plant, the narration says so instead of inventing one.

Honest limits
Everything is written by AI and can contain mistakes. It is educational, not medical advice. Talk to your doctor before using any plant for a health condition.
